The documentary ‘Armenia’s Last Threads’ gives a voice to the cultural and emotional value of the Armenian rug. It sheds light on the disappearing, traditional craft of carpet making in Armenia while simultaneously reflecting on the layered and personal stories that the rugs carry. It is an ode to the love for craftsmanship, the traditions and culture that are woven into every thread.
"What I appreciated was that we could continuously zoom in and out of the “story.” There was attention to both the big picture and the small details, with the vision of the edit and the feeling it needed to convey always taking priority." - Noyemi Corlu
